Over a dozen UK puppeteers worked with Muppet performer Eric Jacobson to achieve a hugely entertaining musical treat.

This much anticipated return to the genre from the director of the original ‘Alien’ and the classic ‘Blade Runner’ is scheduled to be released on June 8th next year and stars Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron,  Noomi Rapace and Idris Elba.

The culinary duo took the show to several Haven Holiday parks up and down the country for fun, games and cookery.

The script was written by Brian and the set was built by the Little Shop of Hires Company.

Brian has just started shooting on the second season of ‘What’s Your News?’

The CGI motion-capture show produced by TT Animation and the CBC.  The show will again be directed by Rob Tygner and is produced and written by Jocelyn Stevenson.  Filming is taking place at the Pinewood-based motion capture facility Centroid 3D.

Brian will reprise his roles as Anthony the Ant Eater, Peek and take on the role of roving reported Gi Ant.  The show will air in Canada next year.

The 30 11min episodes will air on CITV from 30th April twice daily at 12pm and 3pm and simulcast on ITV1.

Shot in Ireland in 2007, the movie tells the story of an orphan boy who finds a new life on a remote island where he comes to terms with his surroundings, the local folklore and learns the secrets of seals.

The production stars Aidan Quinn (Legends of the Fall, Benny and Joon, Stakeout), Connie Nielson (Gladiator, Devil’s Advocate, One Hour Photo) and introduces John Bell as Tomas.

Featured in the film is Smudge, a fully anamatronic seal pup created at Neil Scanlan Studios and puppeteered by Brian Herring.

Neil’s crew created and performed a pup so realistic that director Vic Sarin chose to use the  anamatronic over any footage of real seals!
