CIMG1724Over the last 20 years  Brian has been lucky enough to work with some of the best performers, builders, directors and technicians in the business.

He can therefore advise on many aspects of a project from casting to set design.  Puppet training to fabrication.  Staging and choreography.

Some of his consultancy clients include: Kevin Wallace Productions for the stage musical Lord of the Rings, Birmingham Rep,  Hackney Empire, Sally Humphries Productions, The Hiss and Boo Company and Virgin 1. 

Brian was brought in on Rise of the Appliances by producer Richard Holmes (Waking Ned, Shooting Fish, Eden Lake) to advise on and perform the many SFX puppet shots in the film. 

Nut Brown HaresBrian oversaw puppet design and performance for the national tour of the much loved children’s book ‘Guess How Much I Love You’.  The show was directed by children’s theatre legend David Wood O.B.E.  Brian worked closely with David and the cast to bring Scott Brooker’s delightful puppet creations to life. 

 He was also involved in the design of Birmingham Rep’s 2010 production of ‘Little Shop of Horrors’.  For more information on the plants for this production click HERE.
